Blue Chip Casino Hotel guests will refresh and rejuvenate in style when the luxurious, 10,000-square-foot spa blu opens in late 2008 as part of the Northwest Indiana entertainment destination’s $130 million expansion.
Spa blu at Blue Chip Casino will feature individual lounges for men and women, nine spa treatment rooms, a salon and a fitness room. Designed to take advantage of natural light and the cool, relaxing Lake Michigan ambiance, spa blu will provide guests with the opportunity to step off the treadmill of life for a while.
Spa blu will be located on the second floor of the new hotel tower and will be accessible from the spacious and elegant hotel lobby. Treatment rooms at the spa will include two rooms for facials, a wet treatment room, four single massage rooms and massage and treatment rooms for couples. A salon for men and women will offer hair, manicure, pedicure and makeup services with a private makeover room that can be used for wedding parties and other groups. A fitness room at spa blu will include 10 weight training stations, as well as treadmills, bikes and elliptical machines.
Spa blu guests will be able to relax before and after spa services in individual men’s and women’s lounges with steam rooms, experiential showers and whirlpools highlighted by water walls. Infused beverages, fruit, snacks and soothing music will be provided in seating areas.
